The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (BSCS - AI) at GIMS is a cutting-edge 4-year undergraduate degree program designed to prepare students for the forefront of the cognitive computing revolution. Blending foundational computer science principles with advanced machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, and natural language processing, the program equips students to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that solve complex real-world problems.
Our curriculum provides a solid foundation in software construction, database systems, and algorithms, complemented by hands-on labs, AI capstone projects (FYP-I/II), and corporate internships. A person (Male/Female) holding an Intermediate Certificate, A-Level, or equivalent Certificate from any recognized institute with at least 50% marks shall be eligible for admission to the BSCS (Artificial Intelligence) program. Admission will be on an open merit basis based on marks obtained in the last degree.
Age Limit: A candidate must not be more than 23 years of age on 1st October of the year of admission, provided that the Vice Chancellor may relax the age limit in very exceptional cases.
Note for Pre-Medical Students: Students with a Pre-Medical background must pass 6 credit hours of mathematics deficiency courses within the first year of their regular studies on a pass/fail basis.
