The Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology at GIMS is an intensive 4-year undergraduate professional degree program designed to provide students with a deep scientific understanding of human thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, specifically focusing on mental health disorders, psychological assessments, therapeutic techniques, and clinical research. Bridging biological foundations (such as neurobiochemistry and neurogenetics) with advanced clinical practice, this program prepares highly empathetic and skilled professionals to support psychological well-being across diverse healthcare and community settings.
Our curriculum covers core personality theories, psychopathology, cognitive psychology, forensic psychology, and behavioral neuroscience, alongside practical laboratory testing, research methods, and clinical internships. Supported by supervised hospital and clinical rotations, a modern diagnostic laboratory environment, and a dedicated 4-credit hour Research Thesis and 2-credit hour Internship in the final semesters, GIMS graduates are fully prepared to excel as clinical psychology assistants, mental health counselors, rehabilitation specialists, and testing coordinators.

A candidate holding an Intermediate (HSSC) Certificate, A-Level, or equivalent certificate (certified by IBCC) from a recognized board/institution with at least 45% marks (excluding 20 marks for Hafiz-e-Quran) shall be eligible for admission to the BS Clinical Psychology program. Admission is strictly on an open merit basis based on marks obtained in the last degree.
Deficiency Requirement: Students with a Pre-Medical background must pass 6 credit hours of deficiency mathematics courses on a pass/fail basis within their first year of regular studies.
Age Limit: A candidate must not be more than 23 years of age on the month of admission, provided that the Vice Chancellor may relax the age limit in very exceptional cases.
