The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Information) at GIMS is a professional 4-year undergraduate degree program designed to bridge the gap between abstract computer science theories and hands-on technological implementation. Accredited and aligned with modern engineering standards, this program focuses heavily on practical hardware integration, electronics, software systems, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, and network administration.
Our curriculum combines rigorous coursework, extensive laboratory practices, and a mandatory 1-year Supervised Industrial Training (SIT) program in the 4th year. This provides students with direct corporate exposure, ensuring that GIMS graduates are fully prepared to step into crucial technical and engineering roles in the global IT and technology industries.
Gain hands-on experience in specialized hardware and routing labs.
Spend your entire fourth year in a full-time supervised industrial internship.
Prepare for globally recognized certificates like CCNA and CompTIA.
Learn from certified technology professionals and engineers.
Utilize high-end testing devices, network routers, and cloud tools.
Connect with engineering and IT recruiters before graduating.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and cloud networks.
Deploy hardware systems, server setups, and industrial computers.
