In addition to her teaching role, Hina Rasheed actively contributes to research in the field of functional foods and nutraceuticals. Her innovative work involves developing functional foods by utilizing valuable components found in food waste, thereby promoting a sustainable food chain while addressing malnutrition. She is also involved in the extraction and encapsulation of bioactive components to enhance their stability and efficacy in nutraceutical product development.
